Steven Gaynes is a high-energy communications expert with more than 30 years of experience in public relations and a strong focus on publicity, writing and new business development. Steve’s media relations expertise includes residential and commercial real estate, financial services (private equity/real estate asset management); hospitality and tourism, healthcare, consumer, academia, general business-to-business and technology.  

In addition to being a proficient PR strategist, Steve has been a columnist for more than 21 years at his local newspaper, The Fairfield Citizen News, covering a variety of subjects.   He has also been a freelance writer for regional business publications, daily newspapers and an e-zine, hotelinteractive.com, which covers the real estate, hospitality and financial aspects of the hospitality industry.  Steve also has taught public relations and advertising at New York University for more than 10 years and is a regular guest lecturer at various colleges on subjects like public relations and research.  

When he’s not pitching the next big story, Steve volunteers for Junior Achievement, Make a Wish Foundation and A Quilt Exhibition, Fabrics and Fabrications 2009.
